Join us Saturday evening for some live music, friends and great beverages. See you there!
Join us in welcoming Dr. Grant Gutheil, Associate Professor at Nazareth College for the first event in our Science on Tap series. Have a cold craft beer and ponder the unknown as Dr. Gutheil discusses ESP: Is it real, and how would we know?
From Dr. Gutheil: "Scientists generally reject the possibility that ESP exists. They laugh at abilities like mind reading, predicting the future, and bending spoons with your brain. Over the past few years, however, new research has shown that at least some of these things might actually be possible. I’ll talk about the new research, different types of ESP and behavioral science research in general."
Start the weekend with us. Live music, food and brews. And you can have it all lakeside!
Spend the evening with us enjoying the sounds of Ryan Consiglio.
You know them and love them! Dos Locos is back. Stop out and have some fun on what promises to be a beautiful summer night in Canandaigua.
Join us for our second installment of Science on Tap! This month's talk is with Dr. Brian Koberlein, Senior Lecturer at Rochester Institute of Technology. The subject? Alien Superstructures.
For decades scientists have speculated about the existence of extraterrestrial life. Now astronomers have found stars that brighten and darken in strange and inexplicable ways. Are these stars evidence of an alien civilization? We will talk about some of the examples, and whether we could ever prove that aliens actually exist.
